Getting Started ...

Since 1928, the Fort Smith Boys & Girls Clubs has impacted the lives of thousands of our area's young people. Former club members contribute to our community in many different ways: educators, business leaders, doctors, attorneys, politicians, law enforcement officers, manufacturing workers, and Boys & Girls Club volunteers.

In 1991, the Fort Smith Boys & Girls Club Alumni Association was established to help support and promote the club and it's membership. Since that time, more than $400,000 has been raised by the Alumni Association for the various projects listed below.

Membership Information:

The 2013 membership drive is under way. A minimum of $25 is all it takes to join, and you do not have to be a past Club member to be eligible. All proceeds paid to the Fort Smith Boys & Girls Clubs Alumni & Friends support the Club's activities.

140 GOLFERS PARTICIPATE
IN ANNUAL ALUMNI EVENT

After a one hour delay caused by a morning rain shower, it
turned out to be a wonderful sunny day for golf. On June 4, the
16th annual FSBGC Alumni & Friends Golf tournament was held
at Fianna Hills Country Club. The event included morning and
afternoon fl ights.

35 four-person scramble teams entered the Boys & Girls Club
golf tournament fundraiser. Net proceeds from the event benefi t
Alumni sponsored programs at the Club, including: mentoring,
scholarships, and after-school transportation.

Alumni president Darren Wyatt praised the efforts of sponsors
and tournament volunteers. “We are happy to have so many local
businesses help make this tournament a success” Wyatt said. “The on-going support from the community has been great” he added.

The tourney offered several incentives, including contests for putting, closest to the pin, long drive, and most accurate drive. A special “hole in one” prize for a new car was sponsored by
JPauley Toyota. First National Bank and Select Energy were
corporate sponsors for the event. The top three teams in both
fl ights received Academy Sports gift cards.
